“Walking around with a weapon”… Arrest of a man in his 40s in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province

Last night (4th) in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, a man in his 40s was arrested by the police while wandering the streets holding a weapon. No one was hurt, but the citizens had to wipe their hearts out of surprise once again.

A man holds his weapon in his hand and kicks the front door of the building repeatedly, then starts walking somewhere else.

At around 9:30 last night, a 112 report was received on a road in Pogok-eup, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, stating that “a man with a weapon is roaming the street.”

Police responded and subdued the man in about 10 minutes, and fortunately no one was injured.

Last night around 8:00, a report was received that a man in his 30s was causing a disturbance on a train on Line 1 passing Gaebong Station in Guro-gu, Seoul.

The railroad police handed him over to his guardian, saying that the man was autistic spectrum disabled and had no criminal charges.

Previously, at around 7:20 pm last night, a man in his 50s stabbed three women who were playing together in an apartment in Gyeongsan City, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and ran away.

One victim suffered serious neck injuries and was reported to be in critical condition.

Mr. B was caught four and a half hours after running away and is being investigated by the police.

At around 8:40 last night, a fire broke out in a cooking oil warehouse in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province, and it went out in 3 hours and 40 minutes.

No one was injured, but the fire moved to another nearby warehouse, causing property damage estimated at 1.6 billion won by the fire department.
