The 2023 season of the LIV Golf Series, sponsored by Saudi Arabian capital, opens at the end of February.

According to the 2023 season schedule announced by the LIV Golf Series on the 25th, this year’s opening match will be held in Playa del Carmen, Mexico for three days from February 24th.

This season’s LIV series consists of a total of 14 competitions and concludes with the Saudi Arabia competition in early November.메이저놀이터

The host countries of the tournament are Mexico, the United States, Australia, Singapore, Spain, United Kingdom, and Saudi Arabia.

The LIV series, launched last year, held a ‘money feast’ of $20 million (approximately 24.8 billion won) in individual prize money and $5 million in group prize money in each competition.

The recruitment of many players from the PGA Tour, such as Phil Mickelson and Bryson DeChambeau (above), caused conflict with the PGA Tour, and the PGA Tour banned players who transferred to the LIV Series from participating in PGA Tour events. down

Last year, the first competition was held in June, and a total of eight competitions were held.

This year, the LIV series tournaments will not be held during the existing four major tournaments, the Masters, PGA Championship, US Open, and British Open.

Since there are no world ranking points at stake in LIV series competitions, players in the LIV series must earn world ranking points by participating in DP World Tour or Asian Tour events.

A number of LIV series players are scheduled to participate in the DP World Tour Hero Dubai Desert Classic, which opens in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on the 26th, and the Asian Tour PIF Saudi International, which will be held in Saudi Arabia for four days from February 2nd.
