Everton in danger of relegation after being charged with FFP violations Victory Points Reduction for Punishment

Everton are facing relegation for violating Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules.

According to England’s ‘The Sun’ on the 24th (local time), the English Premier League (EPL) referred Everton to an independent committee for violating the FFP.

The EPL sees the 2021-2022 season, in which Everton signed 11 players, as a violation of FFP rules. At the time, Everton recruited Andros Townsend and Asmir Begovic in the summer transfer market, and added Dele Ali and Vitaly Mikolenko in the winter transfer market. They also signed Anwar El Ghazi and Donny Panderbeek on loan.

The EPL allows each team to lose up to 105 million pounds (approximately 166.9 billion won) over three years. Violation of this will result in disciplinary action. The EPL said, “Everton have violated the rules of profitability and sustainability.”

In response, Everton strongly protested in a statement on the club’s website, saying, “We strongly dispute the allegations. We have followed all financial rules and regulations with a team of independent experts.”

In November 2021, Derby County was punished with a 9-point deduction for the same violation as Everton. If Everton’s violation of the rules is revealed,카지노사이트 discipline such as fines or deduction of points is inevitable.

Everton are currently 15th out of the relegation zone with 26 points. However, the relegation zone is only two points behind West Ham United (24 points) in 18th place.

As in the case of Derby County, if 9 points are cut, the current standard is reduced to 17 points.
